Why is the Palm Pre Exchange setup process with SSL activesync so difficult?
We are not sure why!! The iPhone 3G does not care about the “quality” of the SSL certificate. iPhone 3G will accept a simple self signed certificate or a Godaddy / Verisign. It will even verify the account with just using the ip address of the server.
